This policy covers Motivise on iOS and Android. We built Motivise to be private by default. We don't ask you to sign up, we don't track you, and we don't sell anything.

1. What we do NOT collect

• No name, email, phone, or login.
• No location, contacts, photos, or files.
• No advertising IDs.

2. What stays on your device

Your custom quotes, journal entries, vision boards, habit logs, mood check-ins, preferences, and streak history are stored only on your device in app-private storage.

3. Optional cross-device sync & backup

• iOS — If you have iCloud enabled, the same data syncs across your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit. We have no access. It is encrypted and managed by Apple. Disable in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
• Android — If you have Google Drive automatic backups enabled (Settings → System → Backup), Android may back up Motivise data to your private Drive. Managed by Google; we have no access. Disable in Android Settings.

4. Anonymous community pulse

The "Today on Motivise" community counter sends an anonymous, content-less ping when you do an action (e.g., open a quote, finish a breath session). The server receives only the action type — never your identity, IP, or content. Counters reset every 24 hours.

5. Subscriptions

When you subscribe to Premium, the platform store handles the transaction — Apple StoreKit / App Store on iOS, Google Play Billing on Android. We receive a token confirming your subscription status, never your payment information.

6. Notifications

If you enable notifications, your device delivers them locally — APNS on iOS, the Android notification system on Android. Content is generated locally on your device — we don't see it.

7. Android permissions
